Bit of bully

January 11, 2013

Everybody watching the darts? Haven’t been to bed before half two this week, because those ladies’ matches from Lakeside are so gripping. Darts nights at home are the new dinner parties – My Friend and I made up a foursome at her house, complete with a box of confectionery for prizes. Her kitchen door hardly sustained any damage at all.

For those of you joining us for the trend of 2013, here’s a treble of darts links:

1. The Optimal dartboard (above). Here the numbers are positioned for maximum difficulty via the magic of pure maths.

2. My Friend’s suggestion of where to go for a chi-chi darts holiday.

3. My Friend’s round up of designer dartboards. It’s from 2010 – prescient as always, she’s been waiting for us on the oche ever since.

So loving the darts and especially how it is considered a sport, everyone looks so unhealthy. Apparently at Lakeside the lager is £1.75 a pint. Might explain it. The beautiful dartboard collection looks a much purer and cleaner environment.
