Coloured frames

I do like a door that’s colour-matched to the walls around it.
I’m also partial to a black window frame.
Now seeing this room by Patricia Urquiola for Patrizia Moroso,
I’m wondering, are coloured window frames the future?
(Also two-toned armchairs – discuss).
What do you think – trend or travesty?

Doors should match walls, especially in a hallway containing a lot of them but I like them framed in another colour. Two tone armchairs? no, no no with one proviso – the outer shell (so to speak) of a wing chair can be different from the internal back and seat cushions.
I love how definite everyone is on how they thing things ought to be done. I agree about the doors – i think the frame is black in that top picture, which is good with the green.
