Great White hope
Can you tell what it is yet?
Not art, but a form of self-expression I guess. It’s me trying out paint colours again. Yes I’m back on the colour charts. My bedroom, though it has a wallpapered wall done, has not been painted since I moved in. The putrid peach remains. The awful stuff is impossible to test colours against because it makes them look weird, so I’ve been painting white squares to then paint tester pots over the top.
I was pretty certain, having helped someone paint their kitchen with it recently, that I would go for Great White by Farrow & Ball. It’s one of their ‘whites’, which in bright light look white but in less strong light reveal themselves to have a great depth of colour. Great White is quite pink, which sadly in my bedroom looks a bit like a mauve.
