Swanning off

I really didn’t know what to post about today. Looked at all my favourite blogs, ransacked my brain, nothing. So I just googled something I can’t get enough of, and present it here to you. Two words: Swan Beds.
Here’s Mae West in her’s. And again:
Amazing! Want one? Well I happen to know that the large furniture stores of South East London – especially Walworth Road and Old Kent Road – have whole bedroom suites featuring swan imagery. However no pictures seem to exist of them in cyber space – either because they’re so out of fashion, or so ahead of it. You decide.

I live near the Walworth Road – and imagine there are Swan beds available in that shop opposite McDonalds! So very glamorous.
Oh yes, that shop! There’s another one – a chain unbelievably – up in Dalston. The shell sofas in there are also something to behold.
Ooh, love those crazy furniture shops on the Walworth rd, it all looks like it’s made out of ice cream!
